Mission

My mission is to examine, practice, and advocate for performance as a political act to interrogate our prejudices and reimagine how we related to each other, tackling the complex institutional social structures straining the undocumented immigrant experience in, across, and beyond La Frontera.

By producing non-traditional, participatory and intimate performances, I utilize ethnographic, choreographic, and site-specific methods to achieve a crafted aesthetic for a conceptual engagement of “sweat citizenships.” This process invites participating in the muddled and transforming migrant identity and sense of (un)belonging.
